Vote NO on Proposition 3
Updated On: Feb 08, 2016

·       Texas is a Right to Work State

·       Union membership is voluntary in Texas

It is against the law for mandatory affiliation with an employee organization as a condition of employment

·       Payroll deduction for union membership is voluntary

Each employee must agree to payroll deduction and sign stating that they agree to it

·       State law allows for our employers to pass on any cost, related to our payroll deductions, to us

It does not cost the taxpayer one cent for our deductions

·       It is nothing more than a union busting tactic by our elected officials

An attempt to silence our political voice

·       The only taxpayer money being spent or wasted, is the money our elected officials are spending in an attempt to outlaw our payroll deductions

Blatant, government overreach
