For generations, your Irving Fire Fighters have answered the call day in and day out to keep this city's families, businesses, and visitors safe. Our fire fighters give their all to ensure they're ready to respond — no matter the size or scope of the call.
When your fire fighters aren't responding to emergencies throughout the city, we're busy training to hone our skills to make sure we keep up our mission of providing excellence in public safety. Off duty, our members are proud to take part in supporting the Irving Fire Foundation, MDA, and Camp I-Thonka-Chi Parkland Burn Camp to participate in the community we serve.
The Mission of the Irving Professional Firefighters Association, Local 2073, shall be to protect and advance the rights, wages, benefits, and working conditions of all members of the Local, as well as, to ensure that all fire/rescue standards protect the interests of our members and the citizens & visitors of Irving.
This will be achieved by promoting member safety and the continual improvement of the fire service and city. We shall help ensure that Irving is served by a first-class professional organization. The IPFFA will also support various charities and non-profit groups in the City of Irving and public safety-related organizations.
